We've made big changes to the app, like a lighter registration page, and added a way for you to share your instant meeting links in a flash.
In the first month of 2021, we shipped new product updates, hired more teammates, and published cool content. Read on to see what the Livestorm team has been working on to improve the experience of our users and customers
January was full of changes to make things faster, like sharing your meeting room or registering your participants. We’ve also opened a private beta for organizers who want to host big events, added more streams to the stage, and did a subtle rewording.
If you want to organize bigger events, this update is for you. We’re happy to announce the release of our 3,000 live attendees private beta. This means that you can run events with up to 3,000 attendees when using the beta version.
Your company can qualify for the beta by having a license for 1,000 live attendees. If you meet these criteria and want to access the beta, please contact our support.
This beta version is free for you to use. Please keep in mind that, although we have rigorously tested it, some small hiccups may occur.
We wanted to make your registrations speedy fast, especially for events with few participants. That’s why we’ve created a new kind of registration page, called “light registration page”. It is easier to register using this page and should speed up the registration process.
We’ve made a subtle change to the text within the Livestorm app. Each time “webinar” was written, we replaced it with the word “event”. This change was made all across our platform, from the room to the dashboard. This will make the app more flexible for hosting any kind of event you need.
We don’t want you to feel lonely in your meeting room. This new update adds your instant meeting link to the sidebar of your room when you are alone. This makes sharing your room easy as pie. You simply copy the link and share it with whoever you want to meet with.
In January, we published our complete guide to online event promotion. We know that promoting your events can be a challenge, which is why we’ve gathered all of our top tips in this ebook. You’ll learn how to build great online events, promote them broadly and grow your audience. We'll teach you how to promote your next event through email, social media, paid advertising, on your website, and through partnerships.
