Cisco Webex is a web-conferencing tool that provides a suite of video-conferencing products from webinars to meetings. The company was created in 1995 and was acquired by Cisco in 2007.
Regarding webinars, Webex provides a solution called Webex Events (and Webcasting for bigger events) that functions with an native app and through phone dial-in.
Having something to download adds friction for registrants and will reduce your webinar's attendance overall. Downloading a third party software every time to attend a webinar is usually not recommended in a B2B configuration (network, firewalls, etc.).
With Livestorm's entirely web-based experience, no download is required. You will bring more people to your webinars and miss less opportunities only for technical reasons.
Livestorm was built with the users in mind: it’s modern, clean, simple to use, and mobile-friendly. And does not require an app.
Anyone, on Android or iOS can join a webinar using their mobile browser.
From landing pages to emails to the webinar room itself, Livestorm provides a user experience that have delighted many customers accross different countries and industries.
Better user experience means better conversion rates.
Providing a frictionless experience to participants directly increases the average attendance in every webinar session. Hence the need for a no-download webinar solution.
Not supporting the new standards in live video streaming (HTML5) can result in delays between the presenter and what the participants actually view (and can create confusion), poor user experience or worst: connectivity issues.
Livestorm works in WebRTC. Real-time, with no install required from the participants nor the hosts.
Livestorm is built with marketers in mind, and we know how important it is to know your registrants. Generate a form to qualify your registrants up front.
Unlike Webex, Livestorm automatically fetches public information about your registrant, and fills the forms for them. You will be able to fetch basic information about the registrant and the company: name, role, seniority, even phone numbers.
Less info to fill in means better conversion rates. Then seamlessly integrate the form in any page of your choice.
Note that the third party data is also available in your exports. Your SDRs will love you.
Don't send plain-text, generic emails to all of your contacts.
When using Livestorm’s automated emails to keep your registrants on the loop, add custom variables to personalize the message and avoid sending bland paragraphs of generic text.
Livestorm's custom variables work with the Liquid template language, meaning you can also add loops and logic to your emails in addition to custom variables.
Zapier lets you connect Livestorm to hundreds of other web services. Automated connections called Zaps, set up in minutes with no coding, can automate your day-to-day tasks and build workflows between apps that otherwise wouldn't be possible.
Livestorm can fit easily with your existing marketing stack. Integrate your webinars with any software. Send contacts to Hubspot, create leads in Pipedrive or Salesforce, trigger events in Marketo or send your own emails via Mailchimp without any line of code, thanks to Zapier.
What are your marketing efforts worth if you can't report on their results? Livestorm allows you to add custom code and tags to your webinar landing pages.
Track your registration page with any tool that requires a tag or pixel like Google Analytics, Facebook Ads or Intercom.
Review all the features that are important to you and see which webinar software will suit you best. Use the easy-to-read table to quickly see the main differences. Make an educated choice within the offer available to you. .
