On24 is part of the first generation webinar softwares and as such, comes with the technology and design from that era.
The software relies on Flash and offers a room with many elements that can make it feel crowded at times.
Adobe Connect was originally launched in 2012. As an Adobe proprietary software, logically it relied on Flash, which is not supported anymore by many browsers today. Soon the technology will be discarded and Adobe themselves has already announced it.
Using Flash today can cause connection issues for certain participants.
Providing a frictionless experience to participants directly increases the average attendance in every webinar session. Hence the need for a no-download webinar solution.
Not supporting the new standards in live video streaming (HTML5) can result in delays between the presenter and what the participants actually view (and can create confusion), poor user experience or worst: connectivity issues.
Livestorm works in WebRTC. Real-time, with no install required from the participants nor the hosts.
Livestorm comes with analytics that give you a better understanding of your webinars’ audience, and lets you segment it: registrants to attendees ratio, expanded data on all participants (company, company size, industry etc.).
If you're hosting a sales webinar, all this data is available for you to properly target warmer leads afterwards.
If you're hosting a training webinar, it will be easier then to identify customers that need more care from your Customer Success team.
Review all the features that are important to you and see which webinar software will suit you best. Use the easy-to-read table to quickly see the main differences. Make an educated choice within the offer available to you. .
