Before AssoConnect started using Livestorm four years ago, the company was using a video conferencing tool that could not collect email addresses, provide performance data, or offer integrated marketing tools.

AssoConnect's teams went looking for a webinar platform that could cover and surpass all of these needs and Livestorm was an obvious choice because of its rich features and ease of use. Mathilde and Patricia particularly appreciated the marketing promotion tools and reporting features.

Objective: Marketing events in partnership

When COVID-19 stopped physical events from happening all over the world, AssoConnect decided to help its customers through this difficult situation. AssoConnect thus started to organize webinars in collaboration with associations and companies expert on certain themes. These partnerships allowed AssoConnect to accelerate its lead generation.

The marketing webinars organized by AssoConnect generated an average of 600 registrations. The last event even clocked more than 1 000 registrants.

Before the implementation of these marketing partnerships, AssoConnect would only generate about 50 leads per session. Now, AssoConnect generates up to 300 leads per event!

AssoConnect's marketing teams appreciate the promotion, engagement, and reporting features. When it comes to integrated marketing tools, Mathilde uses the email cadences programmed in Livestorm to send reminder emails to registrants one day and five minutes before the event starts. She explained,

Patricia uses Livestorm's reporting features to optimize her webinar strategy. AssoConnect measures the performance of its webinars according to many KPIs, such as the number of registrations, the engagement data, and the participation rate. She said,

On Livestorm, it is very easy to export data and share it with colleagues. I export reports all the time and analyze each event.

Moreover, the ease of use of Livestorm, both for organizers and participants, is an advantage for Mathilde. She can easily create the registration page for her events directly from the platform. Mathilde shared one of her tips,

On Livestorm, I can easily duplicate an existing session to create a new event and this saves a lot of time!

The fact that Livestorm is accessible from the browser, without downloading any software, also contributes to this ease of use. Patricia explained,

Some of our prospects are not always tech savvy. They need a tool that is easy to use. With Livestorm, they have nothing to download Livestorm and this is very helpful.

Diversification of the use of Livestorm

Following the success of the Marketing team with its webinar strategy, AssoConnect decided to integrate this format in the communication strategy for most of its departments.

AssoConnect extended its use of Livestorm to four different teams and for several use cases:

  1. The Marketing team uses Livestorm to create online events with partners to generate leads.
  2. The Sales team schedules on-demand webinars for their group product demos.
  3. The Customer Success team organizes training sessions in the form of live webinars.
  4. The HR team and all managers organize training and the onboarding of employees.
