We spoke to Patricia Seidel, Growth Manager, and Mathilde Trahard, Event Manager, to find out how Livestorm helps AssoConnect generate leads and grow awareness.
Before AssoConnect started using Livestorm four years ago, they were using a video conferencing tool that didn’t collect any emails, do any tracking, or have any built-in marketing features. They were looking for a tool that could cover all of these needs and more.
Livestorm was an obvious choice for AssoConnect because of its rich features and analytics. Hosting Livestorm events and webinars is easy with marketing functions, advanced analytics, and engagement features.
Says Mathilde Trahard, Event Manager at AssoConnect:
“Reminder emails are a key part of our strategy. The registration features are also very important. We use the analytics all the time, and duplicating and creating new sessions makes it easy to scale our strategies.”
These features make it possible for AssoConnect to use Livestorm for training webinars, onboarding, and marketing purposes.
Livestorm is used across AssoConnect in several different teams, for different purposes. Their marketing team creates live events with partners, gathering high-quality leads. The Sales team uses scheduled webinars to host product demos at scale. And their Customer Care team hosts training and onboarding sessions as live webinars. AssoConnect is able to blend strategies to scale operations across the company thanks to Livestorm.
Regardless of strategy, one thing stays consistent when they’re using Livestorm. Since Livestorm is based in the browser it makes it easy for AssoConnect’s customers to connect.
“Says Patricia, Some of our targets aren’t the most tech-savvy and they need an easy tool. The fact that they don’t have to download Livestorm is very useful.”
And while Livestorm is easy to use, it’s packed with advanced analytics that Mathilde takes advantage of to measure the impact of lead generation and awareness.
“We look at metrics like registrations, participation data, and pay attention to no-shows. We then compare that with the number of signups to see where we're making an impact. I do tons of exports and analyze each event. It’s really easy to export the data and share it with colleagues!”
Being able to adapt the platform to many different needs and analyze key metrics is a big help to AssoConnect.
When COVID-19 shut down live events all over the world, AssoConnect saw the opportunity to help their partners. Since in-person conferences weren’t possible they teamed up with organizations like Le Carrefour des Associations Parisiennes to broadcast messages to nearly 600 people. Not to mention the spike in registrants they’ve noticed: their latest event had over 1,000. Before they made these close partnerships their webinars were generating 50 leads
per session. But now they get up to 300 leads per event!
Everything runs smoothly during their partnerships, from the test run to the onboarding.
According to Patricia,“It was very easy to convince our partners that Livestorm was the right tool for our event. We did a trial run and within 15 minutes everyone understood how to use the platform and engage the audience during the events.”
AssoConnect is still building stronger partnerships with key organizations to bring them better leads thanks to Livestorm.
AssoConnect is in the midst of its expansion in the US, and has recently rebranded as "Springly." They will be developing their US market with all types of content webinars, including on-demand demos. They plan to keep using Livestorm to establish themselves as industry experts, creating a network of high-quality content. Their scheduled weekly webinars have been helpful for gaining more US partnerships and they are looking forward to continuing to scale with Livestorm’s help.
