What is Twitch?

Twitch is a popular online service used to watch and stream video broadcasts. It originally focused on video games but has since expanded to include streams dedicated to artwork creation, music, talk shows, and just chatting.

Livestorm offers two ways to be integrated with Twitch:

1. By replacing the Livestorm video stream with an iframe of Twitch.
2. Or by re-streaming the Livestorm video stream on Twitch (and on several other platforms at the same time if needed)

1) Replace Livestorm video source by your Twitch

Use the iframe mode on Livestorm to replace our video tech by your iframe embed code. This is great for if you have live events going on such as demo days, conferences, keynotes, etc.

Note: having a Twitch live is perfect for business in the gaming or e-sport industry or if your company has a fairly geek / tech audience.

What do I need to set it up and how?

To connect your Livestorm account to Twitch all you need is to paste your tag on the Iframe text area in your webinar settings. Save and voilà (see documentation here).

Note: there are several tutorials on the Web on how to publish your stream to Youtube Live, but we recommend using free open source software such as OBS on OSX or X-Split for Windows.
