Microsoft Teams is one of the most famous communication and collaboration platform, known for their workplace chat, video meetings, file storage and application integration. In 2018, Microsoft launch the Live events feature within Microsoft Teams. It allows Microsoft Teams users to host live events, especially for big internal webinar.
Even though Microsoft Teams allows to create one-to-many live event, it has some shortcomings in terms of marketing options for the organiser. Live events are limited when it comes to inviting the attendees outside of the organisation and leveraging it for lead generation.
