Keeping up with July's trend, we went through the summer holiday season while still working on a lot of cool updates for Livestorm. ✌️
Here's what happened, and what you can expect soon.
Product Updates 🛠
It's one of these times where our biggest update this month is actually unnoticeable from your point of view... for now.
"New infrastructure" is the summary of a lot of work that went under the hood for the past few months and that will allow team-wide accounts to exist. It's only the first step. We're getting closer and closer to making Livestorm THE collaborative live video suite for you and your whole team.
Now, onto the updates that actually add something for you, starting right now! 👇
We improved webinar data exports. In addition to exporting your registrant data (like you could already do on your own), you'll now be able to export the chat messages and questions of your webinar directly! 😎
Just like when exporting registrants, click Export and choose "Chat messages" or "Questions".
More customization on Registration pages
We know a lot of our customers (maybe you, reading this!) have been asking about this. Having freedom in the design of your webinars' registration pages is important. So we improved customization settings to make it possible.
We've added more customization options, including:
- Font color, so now you can choose a light background color 👌
- Customization on webinar access button (font color / button color)
Log in to Livestorm to try out these new webinar settings.
Webinar room preview
When customizing your webinar room, you'll now get a live preview of how it looks like. This particularly applies to the room's sidebar where you have the people tab, the chat, the questions and polls.
There's a lot of settings you can change there. So we think you'll enjoy being able to instantly see how they affect your webinar's look.
New Dial-in numbers
We've added Ireland and Germany as dial-in country options ☎️. As a reminder, dial-in is accessible from the help menu inside the webinar room.
New help menu design
For participants having issues with the live stream, we updated the help menu's design to make it clearer. It now displays 3 options:
- Refresh the page (always useful to try once when having issues with a web app 😉)
- Compatibility mode (in case the participant's setup can't handle our main stream, they can choose this setting)
- Dial-in options (this allows them to listen in on the webinar at no cost for them or for you)

What’s on the roadmap 🗺
Team-wide accounts are getting closer, but there's still work left before going live!
We've prioritized work on on-demand webinars, expect big improvements soon.
And we're making big progress toward extending the limit from 500 to 1000 participants. We're currently beta testing 1000 people events. Shoot us a message if you want in 😉
And that's it for this month. We hope you had a good summer and that you're as excited as us to be "back to school"! 🤓
