What Is Future Headlines?

Future Headlines is a creative ice breaker game that gets coworkers to tap into their imagination and sense of humor. Players come up with wild, funny, or inspiring news headlines that could describe their company or team in the future.

The goal is to spark creativity. Bonus points if you make your team laugh.

Future Headlines Rules

  1. Gather everyone either in person or via video conferencing.
  2. Have each person take a turn imagining a future scenario involving the company or team — and then use their idea to create a headline for a newspaper. Encourage everyone to be as creative and humorous as they can.
  3. Go around and encourage everyone to share their headline.
  4. After all the headlines are shared, vote on the most creative or funniest one.
