Webinar software comparison: WebinarJam vs ON24

WebinarJam vs ON24: features

WebinarJam is browser-based and has no application to download. Hosts can hold events from desktop only and guests can attend from mobile or desktop devices.. On24 is browser-based only.

WebinarJam helps users share webinars with branded email templates, email sequences, and registration pages. On the downside, these registration forms cannot have custom fields. On24 has useful registration filters but does not have any customizable emails.

While WebinarJam users can optimize audience engagement with polls, chats, Q&As, and more, attendees cannot upvote questions in the platform's Q&A section. On24 users can also activate prospects with polls, chats, and Q&As, but cannot react in real-time with emojis.

Although WebinarJam's analytics tool is somewhat basic, the platform does allow on-demand webinars. Unfortunately, pre-recorded videos cannot be automatically shared with registrants. On24 offers a real-time analytics dashboard called On24 Intelligence, but has no private chat box for hosts.

WebinarJam vs ON24: integrations

Customers wishing to connect their favorite tools to WebinarJam can do so thanks to their native integrations with tools like Drip and Mailchimp. On24 offers a variety of notable integrations, as well, including Action and Salesforce Pardot.

On24 allows innovative users to develop their own integrations for the platform, with a suite of REST APIs covering a variety of different functions. WebinarJam offers an API for developers, as well.

On the downside, though, WebinarJam does not provide developers with a public SDK tool, which would allow them to create their own widgets and plugins for WebinarJam products. On24 also lacks a public SDK, although users can use built-in widgets to improve the platform's in-room experience.

All of On24's integrations are displayed on its website, which can be accessed directly from the browser. WebinarJam, on the other hand, does not publicly display its integrations in an app marketplace, although subscribers can see available options.

WebinarJam vs ON24: pricing

Those curious about On24's offerings can take advantage of its free plan, which supports up to three participants per webinar. Unfortunately, no such free plan is available for WebinarJam, though it does offer a free two-week trial for all its products.

On24 differs from the most popular webinar products on today's market in that it does not list any pricing plans. Instead, it displays various features and add-ons and allows clients to choose which options they want to access.

WebinarJam, by contrast, offers three distinct plans: Basic, Professional, and Enterprise. The Basic plan is $499 a year, and supports up to 500 attendees per event. The Professional plan, tailored for small businesses, will support up to 2,000 participants for $699 a month.

Lastly, WebinarJam's Enterprise plan starts at $999 a year and supports up to 5,000 participants. While On24 does not list any specific plans or prices, it should be noted that it advertises itself as a custom Enterprise solution.
