Webinar software comparison: GoToWebinar vs ON24

GoToWebinar vs ON24: features

While On24 can only be accessed via a browser, GoToWebinar is available for both browsers and a mobile app.

GoToWebinar lets users promote with personalized channels and invitation emails. On24 offers branded registration forms and invitation emails, but on the downside, these emails cannot be customized with special banners that promote the webinar in the email signature.

A helpful feature in GoToWebinar is the engagement dashboard, wherein hosts can track attendee metrics in real-time. With that said, though, there are no question upvotes. On24’s primary engagement tools include live answer notifications, polls, and Q&As, but it also does not have a question upvote tool.

Users wishing to track attendee metrics in GoToWebinar can do so with an event analytics page, but there is no data enrichment tool to optimize participant data. A robust analytics dashboard is also available in On24, but it lacks a private chat box for hosts and organizers to communicate.

GoToWebinar vs ON24: integrations

GoToWebinar users can find native integrations with Salesforce and Zoho. As for On24, its most popular integrations include HubSpot, Marketo, Oracle Eloqua, Microsoft Dynamics 365, and Action.

GoToWebinar’s parent company, LogMeIn, offers an API that allows developers to create their own integrations. The On24 platform also gives users a comprehensive suite of REST APIs, which cover various functions like event management, event analytics, account analytics, and registration.

Additionally, a public SDK option is available for GoToWebinar users wishing to create their own unique widgets and plugins. On24, by contrast, does not seem to provide a similar SDK option for its products.

GoToWebinar’s impressive suite of integration options can be found listed in its integration marketplace. Here, users can quickly obtain more details about each integration option and instructions for syncing it with GoToWebinar. On24 also displays all available integrations on its website.

GoToWebinar vs ON24: pricing

Unfortunately, GoToWebinar does not offer any free plans. On24 does offer a free webinar plan, which supports up to three participants.

GoToWebinar’s least expensive plan is called the Lite plan, which, at $49 per month, allows a maximum of 100 participants. On24, by contrast, does not have any pricing plans. Instead, it displays all of the features and tools which users can choose from to create a custom solution.

There are two good options for small businesses interested in GoToWebinar. The Standard plan is $99 per month and allows up to 250 participants, and the Pro plan costs $199 per month and allows up to 500 participants.

GoToWebinar also offers a corporate plan, called the Enterprise plan, which starts at $399 per month. This plan supports up to 3,000 event participants and offers a host of other features. As for On24, all of its products are designed for large enterprises, which may be why it does not list any plans or prices.
