GoToWebinar is browser-based and is also available as an application for mobile devices. In addition, Webex is also available via browser and mobile application.

GoToWebinar's primary promotional feature is a personal channel featuring each user's complete library of webinar content. It does not offer any embed forms, however. Webex supports customizable registration pages and emails but has no website widgets.

One of GoToWebinar's most useful tools is a real-time event engagement dashboard. Primary drawbacks include the lack of emoji reactions. Webex users, by contrast, can activate their attendees with chats, Q&As, and polls, but again, there is no question upvote feature.

GoToWebinar offers source tracking and attendee reporting but has no data enrichment tool for missing or incomplete data. Webinar hosts using Webex can benefit from event recordings and one-click integrations, but there is no built-in analytics dashboard, and all reports must be exported.

GoToWebinar vs Webex: pricing

There are no GoToWebinar free plans or trials available at this time. However, Webex does offer a free plan called Webex Suite Basic, which supports meetings of up to 100 participants or more.

The least expensive GoToWebinar plan, its Lite plan, costs $49 per month and permits 100 participants per meeting. Webex's most inexpensive plan is its Business option, which costs $25 per month and gives users premium meeting and calling capabilities.

The next level in GoToWebinar's pricing tier is Standard, which starts at $99 per month and allows 250 participants. Users wanting more can opt for the Pro plan, which is twice the cost and supports 500 participants. Webex does not offer any products in this tier.

GoToWebinar's Enterprise plan is a great potential solution for large businesses. It starts at $399 per month and supports up to 3,000 event participants. Webex also offers a corporate plan, Webex Enterprise. However, this plan's price and features are not listed on Webex's website.
